- 1 whole chicken, approximately 4 pounds

- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme

To get started, preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
Next, take the giblets out of the chicken cavity and rinse the chicken using cold water, inside out.
After that, use paper towels to pat it until it's completely dry.
Use olive oil to smear the entire chicken and add a pinch of salt and black pepper.
