Whole Roasted Cauliflower With Butter Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 medium-large head of cauliflower
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
- 3 tbsp Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley finely chopped
- ½ tsp salt to taste
- ¼ tsp pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the cauliflower by cutting off the bottom leaves and as much of the thick white stalk as possible.
- In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Place the cauliflower in a Dutch oven or baking dish, core side down. Brush the butter mixture over the cauliflower.
- Place the cauliflower head in a preheated oven, covered with aluminum foil or parchment paper, and bake for 30 minutes. After removing the foil, bake for an extra 10-20 minutes.
