Ingredients For Easy Taco Soup With Ranch
Ground lean beef: My preference is to utilize 93% lean beef that’s grass-fed. I strive for meals that are rich in protein and low in fat.
Onion and garlic: In my experience, I find that most of my recipes require the perfect flavor couple, which adds a crucial taste dimension. Without them, the food can be quite bland.
Green bell peppers: enhance the soup’s color and flavor to a remarkable degree.
Crushed tomatoes: I believe that crushed tomatoes are the optimal choice for soups due to their ideal consistency, whereas diced tomatoes may be too large.
Pinto beans: and black beans are my favorites. While draining pinto beans is sufficient, it’s recommended to rinse black beans before adding them to soup; otherwise, their juices can tint the soup blackish.
Rotel tomatoes: blended with green chiles provide a subtle spicy taste that can be customized according to your preference, whether it’s hot, original, or mild. Personally, I prefer the original option.
Beef broth: In my opinion, soups are best prepared using either beef or chicken broth as it significantly enhances the flavor compared to using plain water.
Whole kernel corn: You have the option to use either canned or frozen corn. Although for this instance, I utilized canned corn, frozen corn requires minimal cooking time.
Taco seasoning: It is available in packets and is recommended to keep at home for its versatility in seasoning tacos, fajitas, and soups.
Ranch dressing: The star of this soup show is the mix, which offers a delightful blend of spices and flavorings that are sure to be pleasing to your palate. You’ll definitely enjoy it.
Cumin and coriander: are widely used spices in Mexican cuisine, and their inclusion adds an authentic flavor to this dish.
